LARRY J. KARAMBIS, P.E.

 

 

Larry J. Karambis, President & CEO of Bison Energy Partners is a Registered Professional Engineer, Texas No. 93351. He earned a B.S. degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University.  He has over 31 years of industry experience in the design of all phases of drilling, production- enhancement, completion and workover operations in areas of Texas, Oklahoma, North and South Dakota, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Wyoming, Florida and the countries of Russia and South America.  This vast geographical experience has given him expertise in all phases of operations and in the application of various area specific techniques.  He is accustomed to working on high pressure/high temperature wells and has held world performance records at various times in the past.  He is consistent in implementing cost-efficient, quality drilling procedures.  Mr. Karambis is responsible for much of the drilling and production design work and the supervision of field personnel for the company. He is instrumental in troubleshooting activities, and his expertise is utilized in an advisory capacity to aid many clients.

 

 

 

 

 

 

RICHARD J. ADAMS, P.E.

 

Richard J. Adams, Vice-President of Bison Energy Partners is a Registered Professional Engineer, Texas No. 92372.  He earned a B.S. degree in petroleum engineering from University of Tulsa.  He has over 16 years of industry experience in drilling, engineering and execution including directional and extended reach wells on land, shelf, and deep-water locations.  His geographical experience includes South Texas, North Dakota, Louisiana, Mississippi, Gulf of Mexico, Venezuela and Trinidad.  He is accustomed to working on critical engineering for high profile deep-water Gulf of Mexico and international wells.  His designs have held the Gulf of Mexico records for deepest offshore well and heaviest casing string.  He is constantly re-evaluating the limits of current technology and evaluating ways to improve them.  He is currently active in ISO/API committee groups charged to write international standards on the design and inspection of drillstem equipment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

CHARLES LEWIS

 

           

Mr. Lewis is the Operations Manager at Bison Energy and he graduated from The University of Houston with a B.S. degree in Structural Engineering as well as a B.S. Degree in Safety and Fire Engineering.  He has over 11 years of  petroleum industry experience and is responsible for well planning, all regulatory permitting, filings and compliance, as well as daily operations. His duties also include  workover  preparation of AFE's, focused reports and post-well evaluations, and the procurement of meaningful service bids for both new wells and workovers.       He has successfully engineered hundreds of projects in various producing regions with a specific expertise in deep, high pressure applications requiring pore pressure calculations and detailed tubular designs.  Assists the operator in selecting drilling contractors and related equipment and services.  He monitors the cost and performance of each operational aspect to assure the efficient, cost-effective completion of the work

 

 

 

 

RALPH M. RAYBURN SR.

 

 

Mr. Rayburn is responsible for the administration of Bison. His responsibilities include Accounts Receivable and Payable, Payroll and Human Resources, Insurance and Banking and Vendor Relations. During and after graduation from Lamar University, Ralph worked in various assignments within the Marking and Credit Card Departments at Gulf Oil. His last nine years with Gulf were spent in the diret marketing subsidiary, Gulf Consumer Services, Inc., where he was responsible for negotiating with outside vendors, developing and implementing a marketing schedule for the year and overseeing a budget greater than $50 million.
